2026 Midterm Elections
Gary St. Lawrence is a Democrat, U.S. Army Veteran, career investigative journalist and IT manager, running for North Georgia’s 51st State Senate District in 2026.
Tony Kozycki was raised in LaGrange, Georgia, where he learned discipline, accountability, and hard work as a student-athlete. He attended the United States Naval Academy (nominated by Senator Saxby Chambliss), graduating in the Class of 2008.
Tony became a Naval Aviator flying the F/A-18 Super Hornet, completing three combat deployments in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Inherent Resolve and earning three Air Medals. He also served as a U.S. Navy liaison embedded with the Royal Australian Air Force, coordinating joint operations and strengthening international partnerships.
After leaving active duty, Tony returned to Georgia and earned his Juris Doctor, summa cum laude, from Georgia State University College of Law in 2021. As an immigration attorney, he has represented families navigating some of the most difficult moments of their lives, fighting for due process, fairness, and accountability.
Tony is also a father and a coach. He is currently a Public Leadership Credential (PLC) candidate at the Harvard Kennedy School, on a pathway toward a mid-career Master in Public Administration.
